It’s no secret that I love to find unique second-hand and vintage decor for our home and frequently visit thrift stores and flea markets in almost every city we visit. So, we decided to take a road trip to the world’s largest flea market located in Canton, TX. I am always on a mission to find unique decor pieces for the cottage so you have no idea how excited I was to hit the ground running. It was such a successful shopping trip that we couldn’t fit 1 more thing in our car!!! Here are some of my favorite finds from our 2 day flea market trip!

Vintage Coffee Grinder

Price: $40

One of the very first things I found was this coffee grinder. I have never found a coffee grinder this clean, in good shape and with this much detail before. I immediately became obsessed with the idea of this grinder in our future coffee bar at the cottage.

Vintage Book Stacks

Price: Less than $3 each

It’s no surprise that I came home with vintage books, lol. I really want the book shelves at the cottage to have lots and lots of beautiful colored hard-back covers on them. I found these two sets of books from a vendor in a beautiful mauve and a large set in stunning jewel tones.

Ornate Mirror

Price: $25

This mirror is definitely in need of some major restoration but it’s SO pretty that I couldn’t leave it behind! It’s very heavy, very vintage and has some of the filigree missing on the sides. My vision for this mirror is to be in the guest bathroom at the cottage over the vintage sink with two lights on each side. I mean!

Vintage Sink

Price: $18

THIS SINK! This is almost identical to the sink I wanted to buy new for the guest bathroom. Other than a small scuff on the surface, it’s in perfect condition. The new sink would have cost $98 so I am beyond happy with this purchase!

Vintage Frames

Price: Free-$15

I wanted to branch out and buy some ornate frames that weren’t all antique gold. I picked up a few frames in other colors and finishes so I can achieve a visual separation at the cottage! There were so so so many frames, even some for free! Here are a few of the favorites I picked up.

Brass Lamp

Price: $24

This lamp is to die for! I’ve always seen oil lanterns like this with glass on top and brass on the bottom but I’ve never seen this shape in a lamp. I love everything about it… the way it turns on, the amber glass and the vintage essence it’s going to bring to the cottage!
